Mental Health Treatment Programs Near Ventura

Part of our Ventura mental health treatment includes knowing that people receiving care from a specialized program have different needs. We provide several levels of care to meet the requirements of each person.

  • Residential: The individual lives in a homelike setting that gives them the complex round-the-clock care they need to start addressing their mental health.
  • Partial Hospitalization Program: This outpatient program allows people to live at home and travel to us for their therapy sessions. Appointments take place several hours per day on Monday through Friday.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program: We provide the same effective therapies as our other outpatient programs, but appointments take less time. Therapy sessions run from three to five days per week for a few hours per day.
  • Outpatient Program: The final step in outpatient care only calls for a couple of therapy sessions per week.
  • Young Adult: Young adults experience twice the rates of anxiety and depression as teens and do well with a program designed to meet the needs of their age group.

Understanding Mental Disorders

When someone has a mental health disorder, it negatively impacts how they think, feel, and behave. It can also cause tremendous difficulty in maintaining healthy relationships and doing well on the job or in school. Mental health disorders can result from experiencing traumatic events, having a brain chemistry imbalance, a genetic history, and more. The quicker a person seeks treatment, the faster they can begin to benefit from feeling better overall.

About The Meadowglade: Serving Ventura Residents

The Meadowglade offers treatment for mental health disorders that is a cut above the rest. Before a person is admitted, we make sure we understand their exact diagnosis so we can optimize their treatment program. Our residential program provides a safe and beautiful place to live while the person receives round-the-clock care. Our outpatient programs offer several levels of care so we can meet the needs of each person.

We don’t view people as just a group of mental illnesses. Instead, we value the individual for who they are, how they feel, and how they experience their mental illness. Many of the people we treat transition seamlessly from one level of care to a lower one, such as from residential to an outpatient program. This saves them the trouble of looking for a second program because they have already found one they trust.
