Located in Moorpark, California, only 20 minutes from central Los Angeles, The Meadowglade specializes in the treatment of mental health and eating disorders.
The Meadowglade fosters an environment that enables each individual to balance clinical treatment with independent living by following the therapeutic principles of benefitting mind, body and spirit, to maximize the quality of life in every way.
During the client’s treatment we aim to ensure that all states of being are nurtured in a healing environment that is both multi-layered and multi-faceted to enable recovery that is deep-rooted, wholesome and long-lasting.
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)
The goal of our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for individuals to continue to be supported in their commitment to their well-being. Independent Living is always the goal, and this is accomplished through our immersive a program that not only anticipates their needs, but provides life skills necessary for a therapeutic reentry into their former lives.
Every client’s level of participation is decided upon following an in-depth initial assessment. Our goal is to continue to develop problem-solving skills, coping mechanisms and learn to reduce everyday stressors in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP)
In PHP, clients participate in all the activities except sleeping at the facility. A partial hospitalization program may be an option for a client who has completed our residential program or for someone who has come from another residential or hospital program. While some individuals are able to begin with partial programs, they’re often better for continuing treatment.
A partial program begins in the morning with meditation and continues into the evening where the needs of each patient are individually considered and met. The last group of the day takes place after the clients have returned to the facility. After that, the clients will either drive themselves home or transportation home is provided by the staff.
