YJ Kim, MD
Dr. Kim is a board-certified psychiatrist who has experience in treating severe mental illness and women’s mental health. She graduated from Chicago Medical School and trained at University of Southern California (USC), where she served as a chief resident for inpatient psychiatry. She believes in collaborating with therapists, families, and other physicians to deliver the most effective care.
Dr. Kim believes that evidence-based treatment plans are the best way to help her clients. She treats a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia, psychosis, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She has also published papers on psychiatry and mental health, and has served as a chief resident and adjunct professor at USC.
Dr. Kim understands that seeking help is hard, and she makes it as easy as possible for those who want to improve their lives while living with psychiatric conditions.
