Silvina Cox is a registered dietitian and nutritionist with over 30 years of experience as a nutrition professional in clinical, outpatient and private practice settings. She provides a weight-inclusive, whole-person approach, empowering clients to find a sustainable lifestyle that leads to their best health and wellbeing.

Silvina integrates the latest best practices in nutrition, behavioral health, and integrative health sciences into her work. Her practice is guided by the principles of intuitive eating, mindful eating, and Health at Every Size (HAES)®. Silvina has extensive and specialized training in treating eating disorders and addressing weight, health and body image struggles. She is dedicated to helping clients cultivate a positive relationship with food and their bodies, while providing lasting solutions to their health concerns.

A member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Silvina holds a Master’s in Public Health from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Food Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She has furthered her expertise with training in integrative and functional nutrition from the Institute for Functional Medicine, as well as certifications in Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness (MB-Eat) and as a Big-Hearted Embodiment practitioner.

Outside of her professional life, Silvina is a proud mother of three boys and lives with her husband and tortoise. She enjoys nature, camping, skiing, learning, and preparing delicious meals for friends and family.
