Dr. Gulino has nearly two decades of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and then completed a general psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Gulino is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult and child psychiatry. He is also a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) as well as the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
Dr. Gulino focuses on taking a complete clinical inventory of a patient’s mental health status and factors that contribute to it such as physical, social, emotional, behavioral, and family history components. He emphasizes the importance of an accurate diagnosis and providing the field’s recommended evidence-based treatments.
