Chad Williams, LMFT

Chad Williams, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree in the same field. Licensed through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Chad brings warmth, curiosity, and clinical depth to his work as part of the treatment team.

He meets clients wherever they are in their healing journey, whether stabilizing in Residential care, building skills in PHP, or integrating change in IOP. His goal is to help each person reconnect with their inner strength, make sense of their story, and move toward a more grounded, intentional life.

Chad integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
  • Trauma-Informed and Somatic Practices
  • Attachment and Object Relations Theory
  • Solution-Focused Therapy

He supports individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, suicidal ideation, identity exploration, and burnout. He also works with couples and families navigating communication challenges, parenting stress, conflict, and intergenerational trauma. His care is LGBTQIA+ affirming and trauma-sensitive.

Chad’s background spans community mental health, private practice, and nonprofit work, experiences that have deepened his understanding of how culture, systems, and relationships shape emotional well-being. He views therapy as a brave act of self-care and believes healing is not about perfection but about presence, curiosity, and reclaiming one’s story
